Phil Moore was an entrepreneur from an early age purchasing his first backhoe before he had even completed high school. Phil started Moore’s Backhoe Contracting & Consulting Ltd and worked through out central Alberta doing a variety of excavating, landscaping and septic jobs. When his son Ross was old enough to lend a hand you would find the two of them side by side on the jobsite. Ross eventually became Phil’s business partner and they worked together to build a strong and reputable business.

Ross has carried on his Father’s legacy of creating a safe work environment, displaying quality workmanship, with an eye for detail and a dedication to customer satisfaction that sets them apart.

A trait that this Father and son team shared is a generosity of time and resources. You will see the Moore’s Backhoe Service logo throughout central Alberta lending it’s support to many community events and projects.
